Betty reports for The Warren Ballentine Show, syndicated on Radio One. The show is one of the highest-rated urban talk shows in the United States. She also does news reports for other Radio One stations.

In her reports, Betty has recently covered the economic downturn, William and Catherine's Royal Wedding and the drought in the Horn Of Africa.

In addition, Betty is a television host and radio talk show host who has covered shows giving viewers and listeners an insight into political, cultural, economic and lifestyle trends that affect our everyday lives.

She has also spent time at the BBC's Washington DC News Bureau in the newsgathering department.

Betty began her career as reporter for the Andy Thomas Show in South Carolina and then as an International Reporter for America's Radio Show covering world news events. Her television work to date has seen her present for Ben Television on the popular talk show, On The Feminime Side and The Breakfast Show, where topical issues were discussed in front of a life audience. She has programmed and hosted the news magazine show, Women Are From Venus on Life TV, Sky Channel 139. The show was a mix of topical debate, interviews, fashion and lifestyle news.
